Hotel in Winona

Wondering which hotel is the closest to the race site in Winona.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

I think the race is on Lake Winona along hwy 61. There looks like alot of hotels and motels just to the south of the lake.

the nicest one would be holiday in or holiday in express. The owner of those hotels is also contributing to the race so give him some buisness in return! both have pools, parking lots, etc

Anyone know the name of the park/beach we will be at here? I am trying to find hotels, but dont what where the race site is at.

look in winona minnesota for holiday inn. The name has been changed to the plaza but i dont know what it will be under. holiday in or plaza

there isnt really a park where the race is at there is just a launch, grass, parking lot, and a pavilion. The lake is just lake winona. There is a liquor store across the street from holiday inn/plaza along with a fleetfarm, wallyworld, gas station, mcdonalds , menards, all within a block of that hotel

All the Host Hotel info is on the Winona race page. Low prices and close to the race site so call early to reserve your rooms. We are going to have a dinner served at the race site before the awards by a local restaurant. Just $5.00 per person so get your tickets at sign in. We only have 100 meals, get them early so you don't miss out on Dinner. I will post a time later for all this. After the meal we will do the Round 6 awards followed by the Season Championship Number Plates and Awards for all the classes. A local Club is sponsoring the Racers Party afterwards in town so check back for location and times.

Guys if you can stop by bubs brewery and restraunt if you can, they are helping with the race also. If you see the owner let him know you are here for the racing, i talked to him today, ive known him for a long time really nice guy.

Holiday inn/plaza has a really nice parking lot and is a really nice hotel. Mention great lakes watercross race when you sign in. I know the owner and he has contributed for the race and im sure he would be pleased to know he is getting some buisness because of it

Called the Plaza Friday, told them I was with the race...they had no idea what I was talking about. Was quoted $129.99....

Canceled the Days Inn, didn't realize how far away from the race site it was. Just booked the Plaza...$79.99.

I booked at the The Plaza too for $79.99. Not too bad of a price!
