Vintage at Racince???? And Masters????

OK, well now, just 6 days before the Racine race, Vintage and Masters magically found their way on to the entry form.

I'm definitely gonna be a 1-class racer at Racine, but I just don't know which class now at this point: Vintage, Sport Spec, or Spec Tator???????????????????

I'd hate to sign up for Vintage, and find that (because of this last minute BS) only 2 or 3 other guys also enter Vintage, while Sport Spec has a full line, but my heart really isn't into Sport Spec like it is for Vintage. Maybe it will be someday, but it just isn't yet.

So, who is thinking Vintage at this point??? Not much time to decide here...

Whats up? What are you gonna do?...I'm in for masters for sure, have to dig into the pocket now for a second class, I can't just do one class...too boring. I Have to make blondezilla race now as well. I'm thinking Nov. run stock....I think Brohat's old rig qualifies for that? I think she would get smoked with the ladies class....all 4 strokes from what I hear. You are still a couple 2-3 years out from masters...right? Your not 40 yet are you?

If that STXr still has the D3, A/M carbs, and FP CDI it is limited all the way. Plus the carbon seat also makes it limited.

Just have her race in Amateur N/A Classic Limited she will do fine. To be honest I think she will give the boys a run for there money in that class.

I passed the 40 milestone long ago. Just cuz I don't look my age doesn't mean I don't feel it ;), and being ill right now doesn't help much either. Had to scramble to do some work/testing on my blaster this weekend and only made it worse :(, so now I'm even less inclined for sport spec. Masters? No thanks. Not with my SN, and I haven't spent any time on the SXR to feel comfortable riding someone else's ski at a nat'l event. So, I guess it has to be vintage or spec tator at this point...

Fast? Heh heh. Fast is a relative term. Watch me drink my first cup of coffee each morning, and you'll see what I can do FAST :). Now I really gotta think some more. If I was anywhere near 100% right now, then maybe masters, but I dunno. Just the testing I did yesterday on the blaster - which was the first riding I've done in 15 days - took more out of me than it should have, so pushing me to "bring it" has me wishing I could just have it delivered instead ;)...
