Racine 2010 National Tour Stop - Sport Spec?

Anybody know who plans to race Sport Spec in Racine this year?

I'm leaning towards Sport Spec for Racine for me, assuming I can get my blaster ready, and assuming there won't be any vintage ski classes offered :( anyhow.

Just kinda wondering who else might wanna give it a shot.

I'm not accustomed to looking for TWO holders :).

It should be pretty good.. i really dont know how many there where in wv last year... but you will have more in racine than you ever raced against here..

Interesting. I know Marty's blaster is for sale, the B2 racing sport spec last year wouldn't be legal in Racine, and some of the X2s were stock 650s, but out of all these sport spec racers from last season:

I don't own the X2 I was on last year, and if I did, I don't think you'd see me on it in Lake MI... That thing was bone stock, I mean the way stock class should be... Everything stock about it besides the 1x1 peice of wood helping to hold the battery in. LOL!

Yeah, all the stock 650 X2s clearly should be "excused" from Racine, even w/o a note from your doctor ;).

But the spec boats that can break the 42mph barrier, well let's get 'em on the line :)!!

I think you will see justin from KS, since he is one of the Nauti crew and they plan on being there. Not sure if he will be running the new X2 since someone else did in their X2 class last weekend. I know he will be racing a ski class. Not sure about JJ but I would bet he would be on his HX.

No vintage for Racine? How do I found out whats offered? Not GL classes? I may have to run the B1 one more time? No takers to buy her....I refuse to give it away for what guys offer. I could ride the damn thing for the next 5 seasons with the mill that is in her.....I'll keep it along with the other useless machines I own. I just got my 91 SN back the other day...WTF? they all just come back some day?

5 seasons? That 61x motor will last another 25 seasons :), as long as you're premixing...

I haven't even heard a whisper of that, but it's not like I'd expect to hear anyhow.

This is just getting to be ridiculous with all the confusion/changes/last minute BS.

At least the SPECTATOR class is still being offered, right? No changes there at least...

Yep, what a cluster f uc k!!! I just went to the UWP registration form, and sure enough, Masters Ski Open and Vintage Ski are now both listed as (Racine Only), and Novice Runabout Stock is up there as well. What sucks is I've been very ill for the last week and a half (unable to wrench/ride at all) and needed to get my blaster ready, so I was up till the wee hours last night (this morning, actually) and about to go ride it now in the impending t-storms hanging out here --- had I known all along that Vintage was gonna end up on the class list, well you get the idea................

Well, I know I'm not running 2 classes this weekend, so I guess it's either Sport Spec, Vintage, or Spectator. What a PITA...
