View Full Version : Anyone do Group K's SXR 849cc big bore kit? Results?

On the fence about a 849 kit with the stock pipe, or just a FPP wet pipe and limited set-up. Harry seems to say its all about longevity on the crank. Anyone have a kit from him? Opinions? Thanks. Marto.

Tim and I bored mine out a little. Somewhere in between 800 and 850. He said with 850 you loose too much rpm because the bigger pistons.
Turn that thing into a limited for next year!

Planning on it...in the gym too. This last season was a pure test after 8 years off, and man was it rough! Gotta drop about 10 more lbs. I'm trying to get TZ back in too. My plan is not to get lapped by you young punks, or maybe even make you work for it! God I love the smack talk!:eek:

I hope he does start racing again...Its good for the mind and body:D We just have to get him out of the freakin garage!

Tim needs to get back on the water racing again, especially with all of the smack that he has been talking over the past few years...

Just got an email from him, I owed him a piston from when my SXR puked the mag bearing at Racine....I think it was right after you white-washed me as you were lapping me....good times. Hope to not be as slow this season. Hitting the gym really hard, re-tooling some craft. Can't wait to hit it. I'm going to keep at TZ....he NEEDS to race, or he will get older than he already is! :D
