Most of the footage they show in the youtube vid is old footage from the indoor races in France at Bercy. And what "pros" would be doing this, haven't heard about any pros in on this. Interesting.

Wow, $27. That's more than I would have guessed. I've been to a few indoor motocross freestyle and bmx shows, and arenacross races (granted, it was a few years ago), but it was something like $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

The freestyle shows just used ramps, so not much set-up cost. The arenacross races trucked in dirt, so their set-up was much more involved - kinda like flooding an arena for the ski show/race I guess. But if they can fill enough seats @ $27 to make a profit, that's great - for the spectators, the racers, the sport, and the promoter.

One more question, sorry. Did you get your $27 worth - at least enough to where you'd go again for the same price?

I was told by one of the racers that there was around 2500 spectators at this event. The competitors also had their expenses paid, and a little more to make it worth their while. Everyone was paid the same as this was ment to be a show / entertainment.
