Thinking I'm gonna sell my 1994 Blaster. It's currently set up in full sport spec trim, but still is an excellent rec/surf ski. Here's what it's got:
Full 62t motor (cylinder and cases). Original bore, no porting.
Billet riva o-ring head w/35cc domes = 172psi in both holes.
Brand new VF2 reeds with brand new spare petals
Riva intake manifold w/spacer plate clearanced for the VF2s
Dual 44 Buckshots, recently rebuilt
MSD enhancer cdi
62t electrics (stator and flywheel)
Factory b-pipe w/mod chamber
Dual cooling, dual side pissers
TDR water box
Full UMI steering, bars, and throttle
TWO complete pumps and drive shafts, both set up for dual cooling, 1 fully blueprinted, 1 stock
Choice of ONE impeller (I have several that I run in this blaster, depending on what kind of riding I'm doing)
Spare upper hood shroud
Black hydroturf seat cover
JD ride plate, custom extended - I'll also include a riva groovy ride plate and the OEM ride plate
JD intake grate
JD aluminum pump shoe (no worries about the stock plastic pump shoe snapping like they always do eventually)
Riva billet gas cap, oil level window block off, and fire extinguisher cover - all the nice bling
Riva rear exhaust
SN SJ side rub rails custom fitted
I think that's everything...
Oh, I have a spare stripped blaster hull as well (no hood), it's fully stripped.
I just don't ride this Blaster enough to keep it, and I've got other friends' Blasters I can borrow when I get the urge, so it's time to sell this one (plus I have some other ideas for the $$$ right now ;)). I literally just put this motor in it back in May. At this point, I still need to fine tune the jetting (it's close right now, but not perfect the way I like all my skis - it will be perfect), but I'll do that before I hand it over to the next owner.
I bought this Blaster from the original owner, in 100% stock form, 8 years ago. I'm the only person who has wrenched on it, and the hull is very clean, top and bottom. Very minimal beaching damage. If I had to guess, I'd say I've burned less than 20 tanks of gas since I've owned it, and only 2 tanks on this new 62t motor.
I've done some rough math in my head, and I know I could part it out and probably get just over $4000 for all the parts, without selling either hull. I'd rather just finish dialing it in, and sell the whole package, with all the extra stuff for $3500. If you're interested in talking, let me know. If you wanna race sport spec, it's really a reasonable way to have a blaster with all the stuff to be competitive right off the bat. Otherwise, you could start with a stock 63hp blaster for around $1000, if you're lucky, and start your parts search. Much of the stuff on this Blaster is the stuff not many enthusiasts even want to part with these days, for any price, so building another one will take you a while, and probably cost more than $3500 in the end anyway - and you won't have the spares I'm including either.
One other option - I still have the 61x motor from this ski, and I'd consider dropping that motor back in, with some other level of modification, for less money - as I could certainly use this 62t motor elsewhere ;).
I don't have any pics at the moment, but I could get some. All the paint and graphics are 100% stock and in very nice shape - not the typical faded purple blasters you see at all. The only thing I added are the race numbers and some sponsor decals. It even has the OEM mats on it, in great shape. It truly is a low-hour blaster.
Oh, this is the only place I'm listing it for sale at the moment - no craigslist or pwc today or x-h20 - probably because I'm either too lazy or just not 100% committed to selling it yet. We'll see what happens here first.
