Hi to everyone out in the great(soon to be)white north. We have been meeting with the folks who help us to bring P.W.C. racing to your local lakes, rivers, and ponds, and i must say the dates are plentiful... so with that said we will shoot for the best places.
We have to work out a couple of dates and new sponsors for an old Lake Michigan race site. (Racine or Zion)cross your fingers. Both are great places to have races, one is the old world tour stop.(the largest crowd ever outside of the world finals. Zion,1987)
I will post a tentative schedule on the web site A.S.A.P.
I dont know if the cash is around for us to try for a National event in our neck of the woods, we will do our best to see if it can be done. Remember to thank all the people who sponsor our sport. Call them to personally thank them and buy there products!
No other sport in the world can compare to Watercross. You can't be afraid of water, you can't be afraid of handlebar to handelbar racing, and the track you're trying to race on keeps changing while you ride on it. I like to compare it to going through whoops sections and having them turn sideways on you in the blink of an eye. It takes more to race on the water than dirt. Watercross;Flat out the toughest extreme motorsport going. Best part about it,you can crash at 55 and get back on,no bones broke,no parts on your ride bent, twisted or wrecked. The best place to pit, under the sun, at the beach.
I would also like to take a moment here to thank all of you who competed in the Great Lakes Watercross 2006 Race Series and to congradulate all of you who went to Nationals. Great Lakes Watercross was well represented there, you guys did an awesome job!
Congradulations as well go out to those of you who represented your Country as well as your Region at World Finals 2006. I will look for all the new top ten # plates in Wisconsin this year.
Thanks to all, Scott.
