$500.00 DASH FOR CASH!
The Dean Joas memorial dash for cash race will be held Aug. 19th & 20th at the end of racing each day.
A two moto race, one each day for combined lowest score in stand up and runabout classes. Open to all recreational riders and racers. Race numbers are required on boats for this event. Numbers can be purchased at the race trailer, or use your imagination and make your own...Duct tape works great! This is an open class race. ( Run what you Brung, Dude!)
Moto 1 of the Dash for Cash Race will be the last race of the day on Saturday. Moto 2 will be on Sunday, the last race of the day as well. Each class will run it's own moto (stand up & runabout) 10 laps for ski & 12 laps for runabout.
The entry fee for the race is $15.00 per boat, with 100% pay back. The winners of each class (ski & runabout) are gauranteed $250.00 prize money, with the remainder of the entery fee monies split between 2nd and 3rd places.
All participants in this event must be 18 or older with the exception of current APBA Junior members.
This is a SHEBOYGAN YAMAHA sponsored event. Do not pass up this opportunity to possibly win a combined $500.00 dollar pay out! You never know what Lake Michigan will throw at you, so show up and get in the race.
Sign up for these races will be at the Great Lakes Watercross Race Trailer at the Race Site.[8]
