Here is the link to the press release from Macc Racing.
http://www.maccracing.com/Scripts/openExtra.asp?extra=14

This is the short version:
Chris and Hydrospace have parted ways
Hydrospace has pulled out of the European Tour
Chris will now be racing for his shop Macc Racing
His equiptment will be 2 Macc Racing STX 15f's and 1 SXR
He might make it to Nashville for the APBA National Championships

This is how I see it...

Hydrospace tryed to get too big too fast. The results were marginal at best. So they are might be Kaput or they are scaling back to regroup and get things done right.

The Ski Class will be great again in Havasu with some good contenders in there.

The Runabout class will be great too now that Farthing will have some competition...

As far as how I feel overall about this. I think it could provide a much needed boost to racing in the US. Mac has not raced here (outside of the World Finals) since the West Coast Motosurf Tour of 2003. This now could potentally bring some much needed life into the Pro end of things here in the States. Hopfully the APBA National tour this season was just a begining and will grow with years to come. Or Hopfully the IJSBA brings back a National Tour of their own.

That is all I have for today...

I don't think the IJSBA will be doing national tours anywhere and that's just fine with me. They have developed national sanctioning organizations for a reason. Let those organizations and each nation's promoters develop racing and sponsorship as only the locals can. IJSBA should only be a global umbrella organization that operates at the global level, which means they're entitled to the World Finals.

Thanks for posting the link, Josh.
