Heads up to anyone who hasn't booked a hotel yet. They appear to be all booked in Sheboygan. :( Does anybody know if you can camp at the race site?

I got my aunt who owns a nice house right on the lake. I dunno how'd she take 20 racers staying in her backyard though haha.

Looks like ther is a Road America Event in Elkhart Lake. That explains the full hotels. I'm bringing a tent

Tricky & I went Wednesday night and scoped it out. Signs say tickets after 10:00 p.m. for parking. The lot not to far looks good though for campers and r.v.'s. some locals told us that they pitch tents on the pier when they fish and never bothered or cited.

I'm assumeing that the races will be North of the Harbor Club. Launching at the Club either $7.00 or $12.00 can't remember, but FREE launch just North side of the beach Sea Walls.

yeah, appears so on the hotel scene, i can't seem to find a hotel with in an hour of the site...Wanted to come sunday too but it appears it will be possibly driving up sat am and back sat pm. Kinda sucks!

Is everybody planning on camping at the race site? I just reserved a spot about six miles away at Kohler-Andrae State Park. Were driving up saturday morning and staying overnight.

I don't know if anyone is camping on site. I believe that the Kohler Andrea is the camping location for this race?

you can stay at the site in trailers or rv's. no tents. both sides of the street are open for watercross race's and there equipment for the weekend. hotel in town called the Sheboygan hotel had some rooms left as of thurs night. hope for big waves!
