wanted to get something off my mind and onto the boards about this racing business and let others chime in, or attack me, however they see fit.. we are in the business of racing, sure its only jetskis, and sure its on a VERY VERY small scale, HOWEVER that does not omit the fact that every time we go out onto the course to battle for position, we could A get hurt, B dammage, wreck or SINK our boats C hurt someone else or D dammage someone else's boat.. we cannot expect this never to happen no matter how skilled we are.. things just happen and if we're not willing to take that risk, we should stick to rec riding.. i believe that MANY of us ARE willing to take that chance and understand the risks that we take when we hit the course, but i heard some stuff about last weekend that i didnt think was right, and im not going to call anyone out, because i have been guilty of this once or twice, for instance, i got hit by a guy going the wrong way on the course in NY which sank my boat, totaled my hull and prevented me from racing my boat since then but that's just racing.. if there wasn't some element of danger invoved the sport wouldn't be so much fun.. so i just wanted to get that out there..

keep the smooth side down..

Is that your name dewsy funny. do you race now? I
read that you got hit, quit wineing you sound like a little girl. I think since
people do not do this for a living safety is first. If you realy got hit as you say, which I may self have trouble believing I saw you race I would like to hear the other side. also don't try to justify your statements when you don't even race, you don't support this tour, so keep you option to your self. You sound Stupid!! Also go to the world finals or shut-up

I hear what you are saying about racing from a general stand point... But what is the point of the post. You have left out some information like maybe what you have heard to provoke the post.

Every day we take our lives into our own hands. Riding my bike to work down the road with a bunch of morons driving cars is a risk... Hell getting out of bed is a risk! Do I think twice about it? No. It is life, life is a risk and no one gets out alive so we better start to live it so when the time comes we can at least look back with no regrets. It's all about what you choose to make of it.

pirate, looks like youre the newbie with one post.. this is my fourth year racing.. why dont you post your name there tough guy.. if you would like to see the damage to my hull go ahead and check it out, then you tell me i didnt get hit.. yeh ill try to keep my "options" to myself next time or was it opinions? sounds like i must have struck a nerve with you there buddy.. i dont support that tour because im a COURSE MARSHAL for another.. and i thought that's what message boards are for, POSTING OPINIONS.. as far as world finals, i am still in school and am on scholarship for D1 swimming at UIC, so in order to please my coach i will not be attending world finals yet again.. so go ahead and name yourself o great pirate or RRRRRRRRR you not that brave.. (get it RRRRR cause pirates say RRRRR)

You must have a problem reading I said we need to hear the other side of the story ,as for 4 years racing , maybe you need to stay in school and learn something and don't waste your money. So, you are using the go to school excuse to not race at the world. maybe you should have more expirence before critizing me or anyone else. Stay in Michigan Loser

if you reread my first post you'll realize that i did NOT call anyone out because i dont like doing it on the boards, i was merely posting my opinion on a topic.. you'll also notice that you were the only one upset by the post, and the only one taking cheap shots at the poster.. again you have not posted your name or where you are from.. also, i am not from michigan, i am from chicago.. i am not using school as an excuse, i am not going because i am on a scholarship and to miss a week and a half worth of training, would hurt me early in the season, it would also break the coheasive training characteristics our team requires of its members..

Both Dewsy and Pirate need to cool off.... We all know a thing or two about opinions!

On another note, Dewsy your duties as a course marshal are over before our next round, come racing.

Dewsy, best of luck with your electrical refurb. It will be good to see you in Pleasant Prairie if you're there. I bet Bohat, Valek and company would agree. Keep your scholarship as the priority. Take care.

I agree on everything you said... I recently raced the supercourse nationals and if you were to rub rails with someone you automatically get black flagged. To me if you cant get that close than why race?
