Was just curious what the lodging/camping situation is with july 7th-9th?

Last year alot of the racers stayed at the Pettibone Campground. Here is the site http://www.pettiboneresort.com/. This is right across the road from the race site.

Hey guys! What are the nearest hotels to the race site? Is there a host hotel for the racers?

There are several hotels right downtown which are about 2 minutes from the race site. Holiday Inn (downtown) 608-784-4444, Courtyard By Mariot (downtown, you can see the course from this place) 608-782-1000, Radison (downtown) 608-784-6680

For a less expensive place The Guest House 608-784-8840

I do not know the rates and am not sure if scott ever set up a host hotel. but there is some info. Last season I had floor space, as I had a big downtown apartment, that is not the case this year.

There will also be a riders Party at Tequila's Mexican Restarant. I'll have maps at the race site.

We just got our camp sites at the Pettibone. Sites 609 and 610.

Josh, we walked to there last year and when we finally got there, they said they were closed:(. It was a longer walk than we figured but the fun along the way[}:)] Are YOU going to be there this year?
