Nah... why bother. Last year we did a bunch of events, and only some of the points counted. To much $$ for no results. For me this year it is about fun amd film. There is no tour anywhere in the country as fun as the Great Lakes Watercross. It has good hearted fun people. That is who I want to film and have fun with. Why would I want to go any farther?

well i guess i you race a 800 you do have to go that far to get some real competition. seeing how no one here really has one but with that aside. it does not matter where you race wisconsin, california, japan or singapore it is all a build up to the world finals and that is the only race that even matters the rest is just a warm up.

i have NO problem racing my 800 against any of the 1200's in WI.. i was ACTUALLY looking forward to racing that WHOLE tour with my 800 in 1200 Limited until i got a marshalling position on the Monster Energy WaterX tour.. as far as every race being a warm up for havasu, i would reconsider that, when only about half or less of the people that race in the US show up.. since Havasu doesn't give you points for an overall title, its just another race that someone's boat ran well.. why dont you bring your kawi to a Monster race and practice up with a full line of 1200 limited riders in MI;)

look jason i dont want to fight about it. when me and you both know that no region in the u.s.a gets full lines for any novice runabout class i've checked the results. if you want that you go to nationals or worlds. also about coming over there why spend the money going there when i get to race the same people at nationals and worlds.

did you get holeshotted by anyone other than me once on my 800 last year? were there any races where you didn't have open water? how about havisu and nats, did you holeshot there or have any open front water? racing is supposed to be fun, dont get me wrong holeshotting is fun, open water is fun, and winning races is fun.. BUT as far as getting the practice that you're talking about then take the trip to do battle with competative 1200limited boats. all im saying is if practice is what ur looking for, you [me and anyone else] gotta make that drive..

kill the sport? im doing no such thing.. i am mearly encouraging the fastest 1200 rider on the WI tour to make the trip to do battle with other 1200 riders from MI.. if you take a look at the apba site, youll see that WI and MI are the same region.. joe if my goal was to call you guys "chumps" i would have done so, and im not cause its not my style.. PERSONALLY, i would like to see how brad does against the 1200 guys in MI.. im not trying to "recruit" WI racers to go to MI as much as im trying to increase interest in the sport..
