alright suckers...we need 8 for a pay out... talked to jim feagals and dan m..they claim they are in for that class.. nick also said he was in... sooooo brad,craig,john,ken,nick,jim,dan and myself is 8... do we have any other takers???? 8 is good 10 is better..did anyone look at the results from ajs races??? they are on the ijsba web site... looks like they had a pretty good turn out.. not huge but decent.. the nationals in wv will be interesting...

Yeah, Racing with the IJSBA is the place to be this year. I would bet that AJ's races are only going to get bigger. Good for all!

i didnt count them on the ijsba web site but it looked good..there where alot more skis there thats for sure..remember try to bring a friend this year,,, i think we did good for the first race... i dont know how many beginners or come backs we had but there where a few...

well went thew the lists and counted them up.. granted there are doubles in alot of classes in both but there wher 107 at ajs and we had 54 round one and 55 round 2which is surprising because alot of people raced 3 classes sat and not sunday..

I counted around 107 total entries for NY... Our total entries were 50+ (lots of multiples though). To me it looked like the strongest start in a couple years. I would guess that we may get some region 9 racers also since racing is pretty much non-existant over the border.

I am predicting that the WV event will be the largest domestic event of the season. It is a week after an APBA national that is rather close (NC), and there are no other events that I know of worth going to that weekend... Here we come WV the GLWT will roll in take the cash and Roll Out. End of Story!

Since everyone is looking at entry numbers this year here are the numbers from the midwest tour (APBA MI) Saturday 43, Sunday 38... They did have an impressive 11 riders in Novice Ski Stock, but a lot of single class entrys.

Then, after the races, I'll hook up my bungee tow rope and 84" inflatable and we'll see who can hold on as I crack the whip - or everyone can have a go with my new PRO-XLT kneeboard if they want.

Linda is sending me flyers, and they should be up this week. Also there is a huge billboard that steiger put up for the event that went up last thursday. Maybe it will drum up a spectator and racer or 2. If anything people will see www.greatlakeswatercross.com in big bold letters across the top.
