New sxr race boat

Hey, picked up my new ski last sunday.
It was Zach Genrichs of R6 original ski. Full Schmidty motor, cooling, prop, etc.
Overall decent condition. Gonna be cleaning it up in a few weeks. Theres a couple big gashes along the left side from Rob Flores.

Once its in our "shop" ill get some more pics up. Cant wait to get it out on the water and carve some buoys!

2004 bought in 2006
Macc plate and sponsons
Skat SS intake grate
Stock bent prop
Tons of one-off custom parts
Won pro am stock at nationals a few years back also

I plan on doing the following
- Re applying black pin striping
- Fixing hood
- Re gelcoat/fiberglass a few areas
- UMI or RRP pole set up
- New gas tank foam
- If I have the time take engine, tank, etc. out and re paint inside of engine compartment.

And may be equipt with a one off custom graphics kit from ProWater Craft!

Thats all for now. Will be upgrading and cleaning up in the future. Ill try to get some pics of damaged areas and everything too.

Came with a couple stock parts and a wooken garage stand.
Shop should be clean and done in a week or less. Gonna paint the shop somethin just havent thought of what yet.

The garage is almost done being sheetrocked(sp)
Next weekend we'll move the ski in and I can do whatever I want with my corner!

Wow garage is taking a heck of a lot longer than I thought. Everything is all dusty from sheetrock and were pulling it all out and cleaning. Then painting, then doing shelves lol then it will be in. Sorry its taking so dang long.

Took about 5 hours today to take everything out of the garage and mop the whole floor, then clean everything that was in the garage. But I got my ski in there and will start tearin stuff off within the next few days.
I get my moped liscense in a week so Ill be able to cruise out there after school and stuff.

Heres my list of what Im gonna do to it hopefully before the end of april to be ready for petenwell
- Star Bar adjustable pole
- tbm/rrp steering setup
- do some bondo on the gash infront
- re black pinstripe
- give it a good wax and cleaning
- if I have time to do some testing I got some weight I am gonna expirament under the gastank
- Got a go pro helmet camera and gotta get that all set up

Then I should be ready to drop her in and do some fine tuning on water cooling and stuff and be in tip top shape to slash some buoys at petenwell!!!

I do bike also, I have a old gt I ride trails with. I bike to school alot but im a little ways away from school and hate showin up all sweaty and stuff.
My friends and I ride holzinger lodge trails when they open and thats pretty fun

Well the green junk is alive just need to get all the cooling lines hooked up and it will be ready for some water tests. New pipe sounds sweet. Might be a little to loud though, have to see when it is in the water.

The person I was gonna get the star bar pole cant get them anymore so Im gonna get a rrp late this year/next year when money allows

Just got all the water routing to make sense. Got her up to 7070 RPMS!
Ill do a gps run for fun today too. Im stoked, this thing just rockets out of the hole/corners!

When a sensor goes out I take a allen bolt off and bolt a new one in....

Im using an electromagnetic field between the pison and head to keep the valves from dropping and I am working on a diamond plated timing chain so even if it does happen to malfunction it will just hit and keep going.

Well took the hydro out today. Bottom end was decent, the mid range pulled like a friggen freight train I had all kinds of power between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle. And I never really opened her up for more than a quick burst. Water is super cold and I didnt want to harm anything with some top speed runs. You dont really even notice when your going fast because the power is so smooth when you get going.

The most astonishing thing about the ski is the handling, I was wearing super bulky clothes (drysuit, big gloves, etc.) You just turn the bars and you can throw your butt wherever you want and lean however you want and it just rails perfectly.

Yeah, unfortunately it's still March which means the weather could change like that. Snow is forcasted for the LaX area this coming weekend. Overall we have been blessed with the March weather we've gotten so far though. I'll take 50's and 60's with sun any day in March!
