For my brother craig this may be the year i finally beat you and get 1st even if you do or dont fall off ill get ya one way or another lol. and for the rest of ya im not going to talk **** or anything bad or negative cause you are the **** and our region is the best around(complimant not a burn) yes, even you joe aka showtime

I already did run one runabout race - the first and only one I ever ran - the 15-lap dash for cash at PP in 2007 (on kev's GP when it was still stock). Prior to that race, I'd ridden that ski for a total of maybe 5 or 10 minutes - and kev actually signed me up w/o asking me and then told me I was entered maybe 15 minutes before the start. I finished 5th and won the $20 entry fee back. I seem to remember 6 or 7 experienced runabout racers (some on faster/better machines than me) finishing behind me in that race - and I'll never forget how BIG joe's eyes got when I stuck the nose of that GP between his RXP and a few buoys during the early part of that race - as I was learning how that ski handled.

So, was I actually competitive? I dunno. I'll let joe, craig, and luke decide on that one, since they were all on the line with me that fine afternoon.

Yes, runabout racing isn't nearly as easy as some make it out to be, and I'm not a hater (just an instigator :)), but we all know it's just not the same thing as stand-up racing. I'll never fault anyone for wanting to race runabouts, but it just didn't give me the level of enjoyment I get out of riding/racing stand-ups/blasters. Maybe someday, when I'm no longer young and spry like I am today, I'll give runabout racing a serious try. That's the day when all you guys are in serious trouble... Heheheheheheheeeeeeeee!!
