So, you had a blown head gasket prior to the weekend of the 13th, replaced the gasket, then had ANOTHER blown head gasket prior to the weekend of the 20th?
I had to work over this past weekend at the NARI show, but I'm taking off this weekend and I'm riding on Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th. My newly "pumped up" fx1 will be ready, plus I have a spare head gasket, just in case :). I may also be taking the day off on Friday the 3rd. I'll be riding somewhere, that's for sure...
What is up whit the Yami's and the spare head gaskets?

I'll keep at least 2 or 3 of my skis unwinterized thru October. I like to throw on my dry suit and hit some of the Lake Michigan storms that arrive during the fall season. I've ridden at Bender as late as mid-November a few times.
I may keep the ski unwinterized for a while yet but the Ultra I will get ready to put away after next weekend. Let me know if you want to go out on the 12th. That might be the last chance I get.

I would like to make it but I can't.
Have a Fantastic time and also thank Major Mike for his service to MY COUNTRY!
.
How was the ride? My trip to LA for work last week didn't give me any free time this weekend or I would of come out myself.

Awesome ride yesterday. Air temps were 'bout 80. Water was comfy. Had real nice waves from about 1:30-3:30. Sun was shining the whole time and now I've got renewed tan lines from my riding boots :). There were about 10 of us. We did several runs that took us a good 2 or 3 miles from shore as we drag raced out and jumped wave after wave after wave. Kev showed up 3 hours after everyone else did, missed all the waves, busted his steering, and left his beach stand and chair down by the water - but realized it when he got home at 9pm. I'll be repairing his steering this winter, once and for all - so we can feel safe again ;). I told kev this is his only option, or I don't want his ski in the water anywhere near me. I'd rather not get run over by an out of control GP1300.

JB appreciates the fine details. That's why he enjoys painting skis.
At least I left out the part about you and your pal riding butts2butts on your GP - out of respect for both of your military service to our country.
