that was the last time for me also... i just wanted him to paint the sponsons i made him so it didnt show them off so much... dont want to let out what we are doing you know
I was wondering if he was going to even race this year. With the way he left last year seemed like he has had it with the sport. If that is the case it is a shame he was just getting good on the SHO.

Heard from Nick today he said all is good. He is excited to get the season going. At Praire DC last year he sucked in a garbage bag in and that is what messed he up last year during the last race. At least it was not something bad.

C'mon guys you kidding me...of course I'll be out there!! Joe and me have some unfinished business in PDC haha. How do I get a number for my ride?? When they wrap the boat with the new design they want to tie in my number so I need to figure where to get that set in stone with the apba.

You are not really going to give the APBA money so you can run a number are you? It is not worth it, and it is only enforcable if someone else in your class has the same number. What are the odds of that in this sport today.[8D]

Invest in something that will actually show returns like entry fees for an additional class or something... It is a much better use of money. I know that if someone really has the balls to buy my number and race in my class with my I'll punt them in the first corner and make sure that they sink. The numbers buying thing has me so pissed off is not even funny. It's just another PMtax much like all the lame parking fees and crap that get charged to those who attend nashville.

Thats some fancey talk, Tuff fancey talk ;). I can,t wait to pull up a chair and see that. I hope Joe brings his fiber glass repair kit for that race :D. I thought I saw #585 for Expert Ski Limited on EBAY for sale real cheep [:p]. See thats why I bought my # so that I do not have to threaten to sink someone elses mechine. I understand your hate for PM but it was not even his idea. And the $ is I think go to promote the sport. And from what I understand it is. No, I am not a PM homer and I do feel we need a change at the top (Like AJ) but threatening to sink mechines is not good for our sport either. Just relax and have a cold beer and dream about me;)[:p].

Whatch You talkin bout willis. You mean to tell me that crashing people is not good for the sport... Why do people tune into NASCAR? To see people Crash and Burn!
I would like to think that there are no real dumb asses out there that would purposely buy someone elses number just to be a Jackass. I could maybe see it in Novice or Beginner where new people could show up, but not in expert classes. Besides anyone who knows me (which is quite a few in this sport) knows that I when I started racing my number was 585, some even know the meaning behind it... Remember KUL Brew? That was my first sponsor that ever gave me anything, granted beer never helped my racing. It was Free and it was by the case(s). So look at you Phone and tell me what 585 dials on it. Oh, I switched back to 585 Last season, after some bad luck running 21. I did run 10 for a season or 2 as that was my "earned number" but then I wanted to get back to my roots which is 585.

Mine too...
I wanna build a nitro RC boat with a big ole' 585 on it just so I can watch chopper chase it and t-bone it!!
All you guys have good points here, and sadly enough, we (as PWC racers) have no shortage of racing issues that help to stir up some legitmate anger in us. However, I think we can all agree that some recent changes/announcements are finally cause for some true optimism that hasn't existed in this sport in a long while. We need to ride the wave and enjoy it while we can...
