Timothy Willemain. He is the 19 year-old kid I raced with in Walled Lake back in May. Nice to see a Vintage rider win this award. I figured it was bound to happen eventually. Tim is one helluva rider with a great attitude, and he worked very hard to get Vintage going in region 6 (they had 12 on the line last Sunday). He and I talked quite a bit before meeting for the first time in person at that first Walled Lake race. When I got there on Friday night, his ski wouldn't run more than a minute or two at WOT without dying. I did some tuning for him both on Friday and Saturday and we traded moto wins both days, and traded the overalls that weekend. He was genuinely appreciative, and dicing it up with him (and the 2 women's limited riders that ran with us) was a real blast. I haven't personally known many of the riders that have one this award in recent history, but Tim is VERY deserving of it. Anyone going to nationals should find Tim and his dad and say congrats...
