A lot of people claim their ski is faster than it is, just look on ebay or craiglist and you'll find ski's from the 90's doing upper 70's. Last night a guy I almost brought to Celina still says his friends SHO does 85 out of the crate. I told him that Choochoo would put up his motor home against a bet to see if it could gps.

not without my custom junk on them... they make a weak ass ride plate scag that you glue on that is ileagal for racing that is not enough for sharp turns...

no if you look closely a drag boat and a H2OX boat are set up differently.
The drag boat is palning on a very small patch of rideplate if you will, no hull in the water.

We racers need the hull in to the water to steer and make it through 10-15 laps(under control) with turns.

we could very easilly make out boats do that, but tweeking it is tricky and at 70+ mph the water will feel like concrete if you get bucked or break your intake grate.
